We welcome you to join our next Conversation for 2017.

Although the Quranic narrative address gender equality in no uncertain terms, and the Prophetic message was one of empowerment to women in every level of society, historically and until today we still find sexism disguised as religious teachings rife in the Muslim world. What has been the effect of this on women individually and as a community? How have patriarchal societies influenced Islamic thought? And how can we redress and reclaim this narrative today? Join us for an honest and open conversation on sexism, faith and equality.

Conversations is a facilitated discussion and social forum for men and women in which we discuss topics relevant to the Muslim community but which are rarely explored.
